The Sol Pottery Gallery is open year round by appointment. To get the Sol Pottery from the town of Floyd: From the intersection of Highway 221 and Route 8 in Floyd, follow 221N towards Roanoke for a little over a mile. Turn left onto Christiansburg Pike (route 615). Follow Christiansburg Pike for 2 1/2 miles and turn right on to Moore road (route 686). Follow Moore Road for 2 1/2 miles. Sol Pottery is on the left at 1750 Moore Road.
